Harrisson is honouring our hometown by producing a new series, PostCards from Brisbane.
Sick of the naff 'normal' postcards, we thought our city and its visitors would like a creative take on Brissy's icons. The first 3 fun and colourful cards in the series are Jolly, HQ and True Story by Clare Treston.
We hope you get into a bit of community pride and support the PostCards from Brisbane series (although we admit the one of the Koala riding a surfboard is hard to beat).

Juxtaposing the large with the small, the ridiculous with the tragic

within each of us. The music, by turns lyrical and playful, carries Corteo through a timeless celebration in which illusion teases reality.

Raymond Pettibon was born
in Tucson, Arizona in 1957. The fourth of five children, Pettibon
earned a degree in Economics from the University of California,
Los Angeles. After graduating from college, Pettibon worked briefly
as a high-school math teacher, but soon after set out to launch
a career as a professional artist.
