Yey! It's nearly Movember! When all Aussie males have a socially
acceptable excuse to experiment with their facial hair – "a good cause"
– of course!
This year Harrisson has all the essential Movember fashion covered including Men's, Women's and His & Hers Movember Kits. The kits feature Movember T-shirts, Pins and Harrisson's Patented Strap-on-Mo. Proceeds from the Movember campaign sales will be made to the Movember cause.
Harrisson artist Gary Schmidt was inspired to design the "Mo" by his
father, The Silver Fox. "Dad always sported a great silver-grey mo,"
Gary says. "He's been a long-standing member in the mo community. He's
seen it through all the facial fuzz fads. He's a real mo
traditionalist. It's always Movember in our family."
Movember aims to raise awareness and funds for men's health in a fun way. By sponsoring men to grow a moustache in November, money is raised for research into prostate cancer and help for male depression. This year girls can support their male mates in the Movember challenge by wearing a 'Mo' T-shirt or badge.
For the whole of November, Harrisson will be giving Cash for 'Stash (Moustache that is), donating $10 from every Mo T-shirt sold to the Movember cause that supports men's health. Also available are cute hot pink and bright blue Mo badges for $3.50, with $1 from each being donated to the Movember fund.
